Morgan starred in Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women informational video on AIDS prevention and education. The proceeds from the film was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is the leader of numerous other fundraisers for the disease as well as testified in front of a specific Congressional panel on AIDS education. She is on the board of Governors of APLA. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to be his substitute in AIDS celebrations and she's been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special together with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her two times about AIDS in Nightline. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. Morgan was co-starring on ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring with Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner also included Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. The next time she appeared, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady along with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred exclusively in the psychological thriller of USA Network, which garnered some of the strongest ratings this network's had.
