Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. The name of her can be spelled in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. The singer has recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by the group Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's support for her song Runaway via a blog post brought the singer additional recognition. Enjoy the celebration of this special event. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano that was in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see the possibilities it offered. The parents of her May-Britt family as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as an occupation or pastime but as a way to develop. As a result, she started writing songs of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. She decided to start performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mom suggested they might help others not be famous with her music, but rather to help people see around them realize their own importance and how they impact the world. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument when she was six, and she started making music at the age of nine. The family did not know about this until she reached the age of 14. Aurora's accomplishments were never her dream. The singer says that she simply likes writing songs. For her, music is the best method of feeling anything.
